Mrs. Earl Flaxbard and daughter,
were visitors with the former's par-
ents, ,Mr and Mrs ,Samuel Oesch of
the Goshen Line, north the past week

is gradually improving in health af-
ter being ill for some time, also a
patient in Clinton Public Hospital.
They were also visited by Mr and
Mrs. Robert Bell and family of

Lavada Hartleib, life long resident
of Dashwood and operator of a
grocery store for the past 40 years
died in St. Joseph's Hospital, Lond-
on on Feb. 7th. She was a dau-
ghter of the late Jonas and Mary
Ann Hartleib. She had been in ail-
ing health the past eight years, was
born in Hay Township and was in
her 72nd year. Surviving are two
sisters, Mrs. Win. Hey of Dashwood
and 'Mrs. Dirk Meerburg of Pt.Frank
She was an adherent of Dashwood
Evangelical church. The body rest-
ed at the T. Harry Hoffman Funeral
Horne from where a private funeral
service was held on 11th. with Rev.
Earl Guenther, Addison Tiernan 3
H. Getz officiating. Pall bearers were the 10th day of January 195,al e
