Auto Accidents
Two accidents four miles south of
Exeter over the week -end caused a
total of $750 damage to vehicles but
no one was injured. A Hydro pole
was knocked down and a London ear
skidded into the ditch and hit an-
other pole A three -ear eollission on
the Crediton bridge caused property
damage at which PC, Cecil Gibbons
Exeter investigated.

Michael Kennedy Passes
The death .of Michael Kennedy oc-
curred suddenly in London last Fri -
dee in his 76th year. Born in Ireland
he was the on of the late Patrick
Kennedy and Dora Ryan and came
with his parents at the age of five
years to Canada. He was a resident
of Credal:1a for 40 year* rear prior
to that' for sortie years was a resident
of the Goshen line, Stanley -where he
met his wife. A member of St. Pet-
er's R.C. Church. His wife, formerly
Ella May Stevenson, predeceased him
two years ago. Surviving are one son
Patrkk •of Goderich and nye daugh-
ters: Mrs. H. Nice Montreal; Mrs.
.%shley Hinkley, Hamilton; Betty,
Rita and Lillian all of Goderich
and six grandehildren. The funeral
was held from the Lodge funeral
home tc St. Peter's Church when re -
Gleeson. Interment took place in the
