Meditation for the Week
Rejoice. 0 young maw in thy youth and Tet thy
heart cheer us in days of thy youth, and walk in the 3:
ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes.
"BUT KNOW THOU", that for An these things
God will bring thee into judgement. Ecc. I 1: 9. •
beseech you therefOre brethera by the rnercies of God, that
ye present your ,bodies a living sarcrtfice, toolyi acceptable unto
God, which is your reasonable service.
•••7••.
And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed

by the renewing of your mind,. that ye may prove what is that
good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. -Rom. 12': 12.
Zurich Golden Rule Gospel Messengers.
1n the United States there ls a
Conservation pledge that is creating
much interest. "I give my pledge
as an American to save and faithfully
defend from waste, the natural re-
sources of my c.ountry, its soil and
minerals, its forest waters and wild
life.". All will agree that is is im-
portant that we should learn to con-
serve our natural resources. But
how about ourselves? The people of
this land are of greater value than
all the forests and minerals. And the
wastage of human resources by
strong drink is far greater than the
wastage of timber by fire. "1 will do
all in my power to encourage and re-
strict the use of .strong drink." That's
the pledge to take if we want to, con-
serve our wealth of men, women and
children.-Advt,
