Better Ice Again
The local rink has again taken on
a good sheet of ice after being just
so-so for a few weeks. At times there
was considerable water on the Ice,
but now with the colder nights the
ice is hardening up and some, real
games of hockey are looked for in
the near future.
Back to Winter
After two weeks of fall or spring -1
like weather, we are now back to
real winter again, snow is falling and
the nights get very cold, near •the
zero mark. Tuesday was a preculiar
day, it started off very cold In the
morning, then became milder and in
the afternoon some rain fell with
it being very mild, this was followed
by snow and atbedtime windows
were frozen up solid. We mope it
wall settle down to more steady win-
ter weather for awhile niow.
