Bridge Club Entertati
Members of the GNO Bridge Club
entertained their husbands' to. a tur
key dinner in the Dominion Hotel
Zurich. Prize winners in the'games of
court whist were Mrs. Lorne Gent-
tner, Miss Gloria Draft; George Tie-
rnan and Howard Klumpp. A sing-
song was enjoyed by all. The“ "Club
held a Christmas party at ,the home
of Mrs. Roy Morenz. After a `session
of 'bridge, the ladies all e1tchang�ed
gifts and a lovely' lunch wai served
by the hostess.

way has returned home on Friday

A Pageant entitled "Guests at the
Inn" was presented by the W.A. of
the United Church, Varna on Sunday
night, Dec. 30 before a crowded aud-
ience, Mrs. John- McAsh directed the
pageant, while Mrs. Lee iMeConnell
was choir leader and organist. The
cast was: Mary, Mrs. Robert Taylor;
Joseph, Robert Taylor; Inn keeper,
Gordon Johnston; Innkeeper's wife,
Mrs. Ernest 1VIcClinchey; Jhnathan,
their son, Ivan McClinchey. There
were wise men and shepherds and a
group of children represented angels
