He came ddwn by train, and had less than a half hour to catch same after he -received the sad word of the sudden apassing of his mother last Wednesday... Received Message Mr. Chris. Heist and family recei- ved the sad message last week, of the death of.'Mr. Samuel Swan of Roc- anville; Sask., who attended the fun- eral of his sister the late Mrs.Chris. Heist a few weeks ago, and at that time appeared quite -well. No word has been received how it ,Occurred. 'Mart I'i,ec}ce r, 51. l loved wife of Jacob Fischer, who was found dead in the barn, having been ie igaged in feeding the chickens, in their farm home near Dashwood in the afternoon, found by her eight- year-old granddaughter, Caned. soon after she had gone out after dinner. The little girl ran to a neighbour's home and Coroner Dr. Dunlop of Ex- eter was called. He found that Mrs. Fischer had died from a heart attack. During the morning she had c..mpla- ined of not feeling well. Mrs. Fischer whose maiden. name was Mary Wei - berg, was of a very pleasing dispos- ition, very kind and helpful to wheee ever she could be, and will be great- ly missed in the community, but much more so in the home, and especially bin her husband. Surviving eesides her husband are ,one son, Truman, of Calgary, Mb; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Thiel, Mrs Lorne Rader and Mary Mae all of Zurich; three broth- ers, Henry and Fred Weiberg of Dashwood and Charles of Centralia. Also four grandchildren. The body rested at the Hoffman Funeral Hone Dashwood till Sunday where eerences were conducted, followed by public erviee in Z:•rr La Chu Dashwood, with interment in the Lutheran Bronson line cometeey, - Rev L. Higenell officiating. The bride was lovely in a gown of white nylon marquisette over taffeta, fashioned in a strapless style with a lace bodice and...aa matching lace bo- lera. Her shoulder -length veil of embroidered illusion net was caught to •a halo of orange blossoms and lily of the valley. She carried a cascade of white gladioli and Amer- ican Beauty roses. Miss Mildred E. Watson, twin sis- ter of the bride was inaid of honor, wearing a gown of powder :blue mere lon marquisette over taffeta, with a halo of Summer flowers and a match- ing veil. The groom was attended by his cousin, 'Wilfred McFarlane of Gleneo. Following the ceremony, a recept- ion was held at the home of the bride's parents. The bride's mother received the yuests wearinv a dress of navy sheer with navy and white accessories . The groom's mother chose a dress ,0f navy .printed nylon crepe with matching accessories. Both wore eorsages of gladioli and sweet peas.
