Hensall 'grain elevators these days
are very busy places. As early as
last Friday evening after supper, three and four o'clock in the morn -
when they disposed of their surplus ing trucks are rolling in heavilly lad -
articles. Auctioneer Alvin Walper, en with loads of ,grain falling in line
was at the controls and the .articles for to be unloaded. Some .come for

owners. Shipping agents report 144 car loads
of barley in one week has been ship-
ped by freight and four special
trains from the C.N.R. have left to
Toronto and Goderich for storage.
The .modern and quick methods for
handling these crops makes the Hen-
sall market an attractive one.
Fine Weailer for Harvest
Probably this has 'been the finest
spell of weather for harvesting that
we have had in years. Rain has kept
off so nicely and farmers could just
about always count on what they
wil da tomorrow. This Wednesday
morning there is a light rain falling
and those farmers who have, their
crops .all under roof are welcoming
the same. Pasture fields as well as
town lawns are greatly sneering from
the- lack of moisture, and it will be
a drawback to the flow of milk. But
rains will 901041 make their appear-
anee, soon. The harvest is well un-
der way, with most tot it done. Some
very good yields are reported; wheat
up to 50 bushels per acre, which i:
