The Holiday Week -end
Another holiday week -end has now
made history, and the usual amount
of accidents, mostly motor accidents
and drownings, have again taken a
toll of life. If more precaution and
less speed were exercised there would
not be near the death toll that we
are experiencing. Our village was
very quiet and deserted. It was
saner cool at the lake, but Grancl
Bend had to large crowd, who hud-
Mrs. Della M. Wainer,
died where there was shelter. The
next holiday will be Labor Day
whenZ-a:in will. have its. big annual
celebration.
