WHAT SHOULD SHE DO? •
Read, in this Sunday's (July 8)
issue of The American Weekly, 'ex-
clusively 'with The Detroit Sunday
Timer, "Quandary of a Hungry
Heart," the story of a girl born out
of wedlock, and of her search for the
mother she never knew. Now, with
the search almost over, she is afraid
to stir up the past.
New Carpet in Church
The Emmmamiel Evangelical U. B.
Church has had some renovation to
the interior of the auditorium. Idr.
Cook of Clinton gave the floor a
splendid sanding and a lovely finish.
New carpet has been laid in the isles
and choir loft, this adds greatly be
the appearance as well as conven-
ience. Mrs. Milton Oesch, Mrs. Wm
Siebert and Mrs. W. ,Merner who are
on the committee deserve much cred-
it to havei this fine project so well
done.

Evangelical Church News
The Zurich Evangelical U. B.
Church will observe the first Quarter-
ly Communion service of this Con-
ference year next Sunday morning,
July 8.th, ibegining at 9.45 am., in-
stead of the usual 10 o'clock hour.
Recognition will also be given at
this service to the reopening of the
church auditorium after being closed
for three Sundays while the floors
were ;being sanded, varnished and
carpeted. This Work was sponsored
by the Ladies' Aid, assisted by the
church choir and the Men's Brother-
hood. This co-operation of these sev
eral organizations made possible a
big job well done and adds much
towards beautifying the interior of
the Sanctuary.
