es. While in Zurich Dr. Faust was
the guest of his cousins, at the home
of Mr.; and Mrs Leroy O'Brien, and
Mr and Mrs. Lee W. Hoffman.

injuries of the Zurich team, lost its
first game to Lucan at the Seaforth

out of four games Lucan won from

ualties and mild weather the playoffs
seemingly have ceased, for the pres-
ent et least. Zurich box just had

1` Late Henry D. Steckle
Tyh"ere passed away at his hone on
the Bronson Line, Stanley Township
one of 'it's oldest residents in the per-
son of Henry D. Steckle, in his 85th
year, died on Tuesday, March 13th.
Mr, Steckle was born on the Bron-
son Line, and lived there all his life-
time,, and was always regarded as a
very upright and honest reran, area it
was a pleasure to be around him and
to deal with him Taking a bad cold,
he was 11.1 only a very short time.
He was a member of the Old Order
of the Mennonite Church and was
married 58 years ago to Mary Anne
Sittler, who survives him,, also three
sons and three daughters: Ivan of
Stanley Twp., Edwin and Alvin at
home; Mrs. Annias 11/Iatrtin, (Susann)
Waterloo County; Mary Anne ;oa
London; Ivrrs. Earl Gingerich (Mel-
inda) of Hay Township; one brother
John Steckle, Stanley; Twp; a sister,
Mrs. Enos Gingerich, Waterloo Co;
16 grandchildren. and 1 great grand
child. The body is resting at the fam-
ily residence, Bronson line until
Thursday, when a public funeral ser-
ice will be held at 1:30 p.m., followed
by service at 12.15 p.m. in the Amish
