progressing nicely after his operat-
ion, and his many friends will be

home by the end of this week. 'We
ravish the Doctor a speedy recovery.
Mr Ed Beaver who has been at
Clinton (Public Hospital for a few
weeks, has returned and is improv-
ing nicely, but ton this return, Mrs.Beaver found it necessary to go to
the Hospital. We 'wish hes aspeedy
recovery.

London, Pte. Davis Gilbert Proulx,
19 was airrested in London on Mon-
day'with theft of an $85 camera from
a car at Centralia. Twio Centralia
airmen complained the camera was
missing from their car after they
let out a hitchhiker from Hanover
to the air base. Proulx was picked up
at London by Constable Ford of Ex-
eter, and 'lodged in Huston. County
Jail at Goderich. He will appear in
police court, Gloderidh this Wednes-
day morning. 19th.
OBITUARY
Late G. Ezra Faist
Crediton — Services for George
Ezra Feist, 85, who died in South
Huron Hospital, at Exeter, were held
on Monlday at 2.30 p.m., in the Ev-
angelical UB. 'Church, by the Rev,
Glen Strome, 'Creditloca and the Rev,
G. F. Barthel, Kitchener. Interment
in the Crediton Cemetery. Mr Faist
had lived all his life, and was one
of Crediton's best known (business-
men As a young man he had a con-
fectionery store and later a bakery.
Then he and his brother, the late
Mose Feist, fornved a partnership and
Conducted a general store for 25 yrs.
For several years he was tax ,collect-
or of Stephen Township. He was
one of the oldest rnerrlbers of Zion
