He was a lifelong resident of the Bend and leaves many friends. Sur- viving ibesides his wife are two dau- ghters and a son Wilfred of the Bend, two ibrothers Remy and Leonard, of the (Bend. In- terment was in Grand Bend Cemetery Late Verna May Birk Dies In Hospital An employee of Armco Drainage Ltd., Guelph for 18 years, Verna May. Birk died Wednesday in the Guelph Hospital. She (was in her 48th year. Born in Dashwolod, she was the daughter .of the late Adann and Leah Birk, She took up residence hi Guelp"i 21 years ago.
