Rev. Albert J. Datars has return-
ed to Hamilton after spending the
week in town, n here he preached at
the Evngelistic services in St. Peter's
Lutheran church the past week, and
which 'were attended beyond all ex-
pectation.
Was A Bit Rough
The weatherman was a bit rough
on Monday, when with. the taking of
snow a storm whipped up and those
out driving said visibility was nil
at times, and very dangerous to
drive!, and a considerable 'number of
acidents iolccurred on the highways,
Late .Russell Baynhaan
Russell .Baynham, 59, an em-
ployee of the RCAF station near
Grand Bend, died of a heart attack
at his home, RR 2, Grand Bend.Born
at iShiipka., he (lived in London for
many years where he worked with
Towland Construction Co. He was
pre-deceasedby his wife, the former
Pearl Tylor in 1953. Surviving are
five daughters, three sisters and five
!brothers. The funeral was held
from the Holtman Funeral Home,
Dashwood with. Rev. W. Smith, of
Grand Bend United Church. officiat-
ing. Interment was hi Grand- Bend
Cemetery,
HEADS DASHWOOD BAND
Sidney Baker, who has played in
bands for 33 years, was re-elected
president of Dashwood Citizens Rand
at its annual 'meeting. T. Harry
Hoffman, who has played for 31 yrs.
will continue as conductor. His ass-
istants will be Elwood Truemner and
Stewart Wolfe. Gerald Martene and
Jack Gaiser were named vice-presi-
dents and Mrs Elaine Datars is sec-
retary-treasu rer. Arrangements are
being made for the annual banquet
in the near future. The secy•treas.
reported a substantial balance on
hand. Practice will be resumed on
Thursday evenings. The band is al-
so looking for new members,
