Good Ice.
Caretaker Bill Hay of the iota/ arena
advises us that he is getting a good
sheet of ice laid in readiness ror a
big season's skating and hockey play-
ing on the Zurich arena. These cold
nights have .been a big help in /eying
a good foundation for the nce, and
before_ the winter is over we hope
to have a few good games of hockey
right here in Zurich.

Our Holidays,
Saturday will be ,Christrn.s Day,
A day recognized the. world over not
alone by -Christians, but people of
other religions always pay traeute to
Christmas Day. Evea unbelievers and
skeptics will help to celebrate the
Christmas. 'Christianity has done
more for the world than anything
else. The United States have euilt
their Constitutian on its teachings,
and Canada is not far behind, and
these two countries enjoy tete e!e;11-
est .standards of living iti the world.
So ife, on do not enjoy being a
christian, well, you miss. a lot. Let
us celebrate the oc'eaisiOT in a wor-
shipful r 3od and the World will be
all the dearer to us. Try and go to
the church of your choice re there is
a service. Turn on the radio and
listen to the lovely carols :being sung.
and most of all read •the old, old
story in the good book, or some good
literature pertaining to the Christ
Child. May this Christmas be a bles-
sed one to all. Monday, Dec. 27th,
will be observed as Boxing Day, and
has been proclaimed a holiday. Then
the following Saturday, New Year's
bay, which is always recognized as
ai holiday when we usher in the new
year, and leave our thoughts af the
past be past, We hope the new year
will bring us all much joy and hap-
iness.
