the week -end with Mrs. Yungblut's

near Hensall over the week -end.

ents, Mr and Mrs Ted. Haberer.
Mr. Jack Haberer 'of Huron College
spent the week -end with his parents,

visiting with Mr and Mrs. Ward

Church, Grand Bend gave us a fri-
endly call one day last week.

Mrs. Gordon Hess and twin 'sons,
enjoyed several days at the home of
the former's sister in London, Iast
week.

visitors at the home of their daugh-
ter, Mr and Mrs Lloyd Hope at
Streetsville.
Miss Pearl Wurtz has returned to
her home after visiting a few days
over the week -end at the 'home of
her sister, Dr. and Mrs. E. H. Cowen
at Exeter.
Mrs. Daly and daughter Mary Amy
of Detroit visited over Sunday with
(Mrs. Daly's mother, Mrs. Emma Be-
dard.
.Mrs. Melissa Geiger is spending
some time with Mrs. E. Fuss in town.
Mrs. Fuss is not enjoying her usual
good health.
Mr and Mrs Hugh MacKinnon and
two children Ross and Janet, of Lon-
don were Sunday visitors at the home
of Mrs. M. MacKinnon in Zurich.
Mr and Mrs Leon Jeffrey of near
Blake, have returned from a very
pleasant trip to Windsor, Detroit and
Royal Oak, (Mich., where they visit-
ed with their children and relatives.

A Sitting of the Tenth Division
Court was held in the Zurich Town
Hall, on Thursday of last week, when
the Perth County Judge, of Stratford
presided for the sitting.
Rev. H. E. Rappel has been con-
fined to his home with a throat in-
fection since last Sunday, but he
expects to be O.K. again in a few
days.

is ill, was flown by plane to the West
Minister Hospital,• Landon, where he
will take treatments.

This Wednesday a huge well drill-
ing ,outfit moved up north on the
farm of Mr Elgin llcKiruley, a mew
miles north -of town, where they
will dig holes in the earth to see
what is lying underneath the surface,
and what :can be found in the next
two thousand feet or more. No one
knows just what could be down t fierce.
