Sunday next is Fathers' Day and
' o that will ]be observed wibh >ihe
hi;ghe,t resnect, there is sornethug
s very at+roctive in Father's Dav; It is
• a day where.children •offer their most
sincere greeting, it is a day that
• brings a family together, as one in
• • spirit. A father has muoh respon-
• arability in life: from the beginning
of time he had his role to play in
•family circles, God had given him
children to form ,an earthly king-
dom for hers glory and pride; But
there was a duty) for them to per-
form towards those children, he had
to give 'then food to. nourish their
bodies: 11e had to clothe them, and
he had to put them under cover for
safe protection; But there are some
things else that fell upon lhis shoul-
ders, he had to bring them un with
the necessary qualificatio to become
good Christians and loyal • citizens;
that is the task that awaits a father
from day to day. It has'lbeen ;from
the beginning, it shall 'continue to
the end. And as we see things,
such is the meaning of Father's Day,
one deserving of respect, and again
as we see things, the fataer of a
family ranks high in Society,• per-
haps eanongst the highest.
