OBITUARY
Mrs. John Gallman Passes
Mrs. John Gellman, (nee Margaret
Kaercher died at the home of her
daughter, Mr and Mrs. Daniel Here-
ford at Elkton, Mich., on Thursday
May 6th, aged 98 years, 5 months
and 10 days, after a lingering illness,
passing away sitting in her rocking
chair. She was a resident of Zurich
and district until 23 years ago, when
she and her husband went with their
children in Michigan. :14 years ago
her .husband pre -deceased. Surviving
are four children: (Clara) Mrs. Dan
Hereford of Elkton, Mich; Henry
Gellman, Roothouse, Ill., Joseph of
Benton Harbour, Mich; (Carrie) • Mrs
Lloyd IScheifle, iMich; three passed
on before, (Mary) Mrs. Isaiah Wit-
mer, Zurich; (Louise) Mrs. John
Gescho, Elkton, Mich; Alfred at nos-,
thern, Sask. Two sisters, Mrs. Chas
Hey, Cass City, :Mich; and .Agnes
Kaercher of Kitchener. In all there
are 105 descendants of the departed
now living. The funeral took place
on iSaturdalyi May 8th at Elkton, to
the Evangelical U. B. Church, where
she was laid besides her husband.
