WHEREAS; it is deemed expedient to prohibit the acts hereinafter set forth pursuant to the powers granted under The Municipal .Act; THEREFORE; the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Hay enacts as follows: 1. In this By -Law "Highway" shall include any highway and any Public bridge and any lane, road, footway, square, court, alley or passage, whether a thoroughfare or not. 2, No person shall throw, place, deposit or otherwise cause to appear on a highway within the Corporation any dirt, filth, glass, handbills, paper or other rubbish or • refuse, or the carcass of any aminal. 3. Any person who contravenes any provision of this by-law shall upon conviction be liable to a penalty not exceeding $50.00 exclusive of costs recoverable under the Summary Convictions Act.
