(OTT 2) CORNWALL, ONT., SEPT. 5 — UNVEILING — The St. Lawrence Power Project
was officially opened in Cornwall, Ont., today. The project has adjoining powerhouses
— the Robert H. Saunders,- St. Lawrence Generating Station, on the Canadian side, and
the Robert Moses Power Dam, on the American side. Left to right in this picture are:
Premier Leslie Frost of Ontario; Mrs. Robert Falconer, daughter of the late Mr. Saunders,
Chairman of the Hydro -Electric Power Commission of Ontario from 1948 until his death
in 1955; and James S. Duncan, present Chairman of the Commission.

ioli and fern, was the setting for
the wedding of Shirley Doreen
Patterson, Clinton, and William
Jaynes Ian McAllister. RR 1, Zu-
rich, on Saturday, August 23, at
2.30 p.m. The bride is the daught-
er of Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Pat-
terson, RR 3, Lindsay, and the
groom is the son of James McAllis-
ter, RR 1, Zurich, and the late
Mrs. McAllister.
Rev. Mr. Griffith, Dunsford, per-
formed the double ring ceremony.
Wedding music was provided by
Mrs. R. C. Ohanvbers, Oshawa, at

Lindsay, was maid of honor, wear-
ing waltz -length. white chiffon with
a finely gathered (bodice and a
floating panel which extended
from the neckline at the back to
the hemline. The bridesmaid, El-
aine Patterson; RR 3, Lindsay,
wore waltz -length: powder blue
chiffon of identical style. Both
attendants carried blue .carnations
and white pom.-Iparnc.
Jim Duffin, Zhorndale, was
groomsman and ushers were Mor-
ris Freeman, Lakefield, and Tenn
Goff, Sarnia.
A reception was held in Duns -
ford United Church; Hall, decorat-
ed with gladioli. The bride's moth-
er received in a blue sulk organza
sheath with matching accessories
and corsage of pink sweetheart
rases, assisted (by the groom's
sister, M^rs,. Glenn Goff, in jade
glint sink shantung sheath with
black !accessories and a !corsage cff'
Yellow sweetheart roses.
For travelling, the bride chose
a blue and white sheath costume
with :blue accessories and rx rsage
of red roses.
The groom is agraduate of Ont-
ario Agxiixnuliture College, Guelph,
and was agricultural ree aesienta~
tive for Kent County. The bride is
a graduate in hoarse economics
from Macdonald Institute, GnzeOlfxh,
and is home economiist far Huron
