'Residents of H'ensale and dist-
rict learned with regret of the pas-
sing of Mrs. John B. Forrest, who
died at the Queensway Nursing
Name, Hensen, on Saturday even-
ing, July 19. rn her 76th year.
The former Matilda Witmer, she
was born in Kitchener area mov-
ing to Hay Township when quite
young. She has rbe'en a. resident of
Haman rfor the past 18 years.
A member of Caravel' Presbyter-
ian Church ,and a life member of
the Women's Missiionary Society,
she was very active -in church or-
'ganlizabioms. She was married
{twice, her. first husband. Jarrres
Allan, died in 1939. 'She was mar-
ried to Mr. Forrest un 1943, who
predeceased her en August 1947.
Surviving is ane brother, Syft-
vanus Witmer, Zurich. Page fun-
eral services- were held from the
Bonthron :funeral chapel, Hensel]
on Tuesday, July 22 with the Rev.
Samuel :Kerr, minister ,of Caven
Presbytenian Church, Exeter, in
change of the service. Burial was
in the Evangelical United Breth-
ern Cemetery, Zurich.
