In a mid summer wedding in Grand Bend United Church on Saturday, June 28, 1958, Nancy Ann Fanner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd M. Fanner, Grand Bend, became the bride of Wth1- fred Ralph Becker, soon of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Becker, Dash- wood. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. E. IHoNey. Given in marriage by her father the bride chose a. ' floor -length gown of white nylon chiffon over silk faille featuring scoop neck-, line, short lace sleeves and mould- ed bodice appliqued with guipure lace. The furl skirt of chiffon cascaded into a chapel train. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion was held by a bandeau of pleated tulle trimmed with seed pearl:, .and irridescent sequins. She carried a cascade of red roses. The bride's attendants, Mrs.. Edward Webb, Dashwood as mat- ron of honour and Miss Barbara Fanner, Grand Bend, and Miss Joan Baker, Dashwood, as brides- maids were gowned alike in, em- bossed nylon organza over mint ween taffeta. Cynthia Campbell, Detroit, Mich., was flower girl gowned in coral pink taffeta. Edward Webb, Dashwood, was beet man and ushers were Wayne Fabner, Grand Bend, and James Becker, Dashwood. For travelling the bride chang- ed to a powder blue chemise with white accessories and corsage of prink and white carnations. Mr. and Mrs. Becker will make their home in Dashwood.
