`Guide Mothers was called. on Wedn-

the Guide Movement were present.
1 Camp foams were given all the
mothers. The camp is being held
this year from July 14 to 24th. It
was also decided to take the Guides
to Stratford once a week for •.swim-
ming lessons. The mothers and oth-

the transportation. A list has been
made up saying when it is each one's
• turn to drive. If each parent co,
goperates, it will just mean a cotrpiey
of trips a piece.

Navigation Season Opens
At Goderich, on Monday, March
215th navigation season :officially op-
ened with the arrival of the oil tan-
ker Imperial London, commanded by
Captain James Burns of Sarnia. A
civic reception was tendered Capt.
Burns in the council. tchamibers at the
Town Hall. The traditional silk hat
was presented and the; navigation
-season was declared open. The tan-
ker brought into port a cargo of
4,000 barrels of gasoline. She op -
'ii' the ;season 13 days earlier than
laSt 'season.
