Early this week one of those spells
of winter returned in these parts,
with frost and snow, But it is mod-
erating dawn considerably. In some
parts of the U.S.A. snow piled up
as high as (twenty feet, cars, busses
and trains were tied up, and some
life was Lost as a result.

DIED AT EXETER
Mrs John Caldwell, 72, died 6n
Tuesday last at her home, London
Road north of Exeter. She was the
former Ida Weber, of Dashwood. Fol-
lowing her marriage to Samuel Bea-
ver, they fanned in Stephen Town-
ship and later moved to a farm on
Highway No. 4, r ,rth of Exeter, and..
now occupied by her son Harry .Sea-
ver. Mr. Beaver dried there in 1921
She married John Caldwell of Exe-
ter, who died six years ago. She was
a member of Main Street United
Has Returned Home
Mfrs. Mary Brenner has returned
to her home after spending the win-
ter months in Kitchener .with some
:of her children.
Returned From Hospital
Mr. 'W'illiam (Bill) Yun�g+blwt has
returned home from ,St. Joseph's
Hospital, London, and is progressing
favourably and takes his daily stroll
down town. ,His many friends wish
him
,continued health, and soon be
able to resume his teaching duties.
Return From South
Messrs. Lorne Gingerich and Sam-
uel Rapp who spent a few montes in
Florida, have returned back t on,e,
and both have taken on a good tan.
They enjoyed themselves very much
n the sunny south, doing ,consider-
able fishing.

Miss Lizzie Volland has returned
to her home in town after spendinx;
a few weeks at the home of WIT acid

patient in the South Huron Hospital
