Lennis and Orland, Kitchener; Lea -
ton, Hamilton; three brothers, Fred
of 'Hay Township; Harry, London;
and August of Lansing, Mich; and
three sisters, Mrs. George Thiel, of
Hay Township; Mrs. J. IMeidinger of
Zurich,, and Airs. Alex: Foster of
London. The remains rested at the

The annual meeting and banquet
of the Hay Township Federation of
Agriculture was field in the Zurich
Community Centre , last Thursday
evening with the spacious auditorium
well filled. Delbert Geiger was the
+ahlorister and Mrs Mitt Oesch, pain�st..
President Lloyd Hendrick soon got
things started and introduced the
guests at the head table. Miss Alice
Johnston entertained very well on
her nyexim,'ba. A Harmony nony quartette
also gave well received numbers.. A
number of speakers were called up-
on who gave very encouraging re-
ports on the progress of Federation
work. Reeve Vallie Becker urged
the work along and gave much
praise for_ the. work being done. The
guest, speaker was Padre William
Young of the Ontario Agricultural
College, iGuelph, and a former pastor
o the Presbyterian church, Mensal},
Who a1 ng• with a lot of humor, urg-
ed formaatiton of other federations
throughout Ontario. Other speakers
were County Federation vice-pa•esid-
ent, Winston Slaapton, 'of Exeter, and
Carl Hemingway, of Ethel, secretauy
