where,Mr. White died. Six sons and
two daughters survive. The funeral

ew, , Jas. Bonthrone Hensall. A short
service was held in the Anglican ch-
urch " conducted by a former rector,
Rev, C. Doherty, Loudon, assisted by
Rev. ;Mr. Farr and Rev. A. Sinclair.

Still Drilling for Water.
A. water drilling company has been
hard et work ever since early in the
spring, attempting to locate water to
augument the town supply at Exeter
So far no real success has been at-
tained, the last failure being one on
the farm of N. Kestle, south of the
town. Here 'four small holes 'were
drilled and ` some water located but
not enough for the town's require-
ments. The company has moved its
outfit back' into town and is making
another 'attempt,'
