the gun was loaded when it suddenly
dischaeged, the bullet going through
his abdomen rupturing the bowels in

to Alexandra Hospital, Goderich,
where Dr. W. 3. Tillman and Dr. E.
D. Busby, of London, made the trip

performed and the bulled removed.
At first the patient seemed to be do-

and he died ea'r'ly Tuesday morning,
leaving his wife and two daughters,
besides his parents in Detroit, and a
few brothers and sisters. The funeral
is being held 'a Exeter on Thursday,
to the Presbyterian church. Major
