First intentions of the Government were, it is said, to report aedeficit of between $25,000,- 000 and $27,000,000 but last minute calculations will shoot that deficit fairly close to the $30,000,000 mark. Of that sum, some $17,000,000, as previously forecast, is attributable to direct relief expenditure.
