Weido—Kochems
An interesting inatrtimonal event
was celebrated at Leaden on Friday
last, when Rev: Killinger of that city
united in weddlock Marie, daughter
of Mrs. Kochems and the late Frank
Kochems, of Zurich, and Percy
Weide, son of Mr. Jacob Weido, al-
so of Zurich. The happy couple will
reside on the groom's faun on the
Lake Road, near Dashwood. We join
their many friends hi extending con-
gratulations.
Haugh --Gilbert
An interesting wedding took place
on Saturday, December 15th, at the
Baptist parsonage, Clinton; when
Mabel Haugh, granddaughter of Mr.
and Mrs. John Haugh of Dashwood,
was united in marriage to John Fred-
erick Gilbert, son of Mr. and Mrs.
George Gilbert of Stratford. Rev'. G.
W. Sherman officiating: The bride
was becomingly dressed in Bermuda..

that her grandmother wore at her
wedding, and carried sweetheart ros-
es and fern. She was attired by
Ethel Walper of Grand .Bend, attired
in jade green and carried carnations
and fern. The groom was supported
by Charlie Carter of Stratford. ini-
uiediately after the ceremony the
bride and groom, left for Stratford,
where a wedding dinner was served
at the groom's parent's home. • Later
]having for a short honeymoon to
Toronto and other eastern points.
On their return they will reside at
