tending Clinton Collegiate, spent the
week -end at his home here.

Dashwood, were Sunday visitors;
with Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Geiger.

January Sth. A boys' agricultural
and a girls' domestic ,science cour,e
will be held.
Mr. Cyrus Schoch has moved their
household effects from Kitchener, in
the residence owned by the Foster
estate, opposite the R. C. church. We
welcome Mr. and Mrs. Schoch as
residents of Zurich.

ed to her home after spending a few

General Sir Arthur Currie, died at
a Montreal Hospital on Thursday
morning last at the age of. 57 years.

NEW GARAGE
Mr. E. R. Guenther of Dashwood,
is erecting a garage west of the ser-
vice station at the north end of Ex-
eter north. Mr. Guenther, who has
a very extensive trucking business
will use the garage for the storage of
trucks and merchandise at times
when the roads between Exeter and
Dashwood is closed to motor traffic.
The building is about completed.
In Police Court
Wm. Collison, of Blyth, was found
guilty of reckless driving and asses-
sed $10 and costs by Mag. Reid at
Clinton on Saturdaay. The charge
vas laid following an accident which
occurred on Nov. (i, three miles so-
uth of Clinton, when a car owned
and, driven by defendant skidded af-
ter overtaking two girls roller skating
on the highway and crashed into the
