Harvey Hudson, Donald Walker,
Lloyd and Roy Brock and Lloyd
Noakes have joined the Seaforth
eompany of the Huron Military Batt-
siion, training several nights a week
at Seaforth and then on Sunday they
left witht their company for the big
military camp at Pine Hill, near
Thedford; where they will train this
week.
Teacher is Named
Out of 14 applications received by
the trustees for the position of as-
sistant continuation school teacher,
made vacant by the resignation of
Miss Irene Douglass, Miss .Margaret
Kilpatrick, of 'Trowbridge, was ap-
pointed to the vacancy.
Minister is Honored
A large gathering . from Hensall
and Chise'lhurst United Churches we-
re present last Friday evening in the
United Church :here ,at which tribute
was paid Rev. Arthur Sinclair, min-
ister for .the past 15 years, who is
leaving shortly for Blyth. Rev and
Mrs. Sinclair were presented (luring
the program, with a desk and chair,
silver tea service, a cabinet of silver
and a complete set of dishes. Henry
Horton read the accompanying ad-
dress while the presentations were
made by W. J. Pybus and Geo. T.
Wre nn. Mr. Sinclair replied app-
ropriately.

Miss Betty Hogarth, of the fourth
form in the Exeter H. S. was suc-
cessful in securing all her subjects in
the test exams. She was the only
pupil to ,eecomplish this.

Monday for a motor trip through the

on as far as Banff, and will be away
