Mrs. Swartzentruber and daughter
Beulah of Kitchener, are spending the
'week at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
David ,Gingerich.
Mr. Charters of Stratford is re-
lieving Mr. Hughes as teller of the
local Bank of Montreal. Mr. Hughes
is away on holidays.

Fanners are busy this weak with
the big, heavy hay crop, as the wea-
ther is ideal, a lot of choice hay
should be taken in this week.
Mrs. C. Eilber was a week end
visitor with her sister, Mrs. Mitchell
at Hensel', also attended the Mitchell
reunion at Springbank Park on Sat-
urday.
Mr. and Mrs. Roland Geiger„ Miss
Pearl Pfile, Mr .and Mrs. W. T. Tru-
emner of the 14th con., attended the
Carrick Camp Meeting of the. Evan-
gelical church ntar Mildmay on Sun-
day.
We congratulate Mr. Paul Hess,
soar of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hess of
town, who has been successful in
passing his first year's work. at Tor-
onto University with honors.
Zurich friends of Mr. Milton Oeseh
Ilea. :the sniefortene of injuring
.his eye last week, will she pleased to
learn that Milton has left the Owen
Sound Hospital and is getting along
as well as can be expected.
A splendid Contata entitled "Ten
Virgins" will be presented by the
Mission 'Circle of Dashwood in the
Zurich Evangelical church. on Sun-
day evening, July 3rd. Some voca]
numbers will also be given.
The services far St. Peters' Luth-
eran church next Sunday will be as
follows: English service at e a.m;
German service at 10 a.m., and Sun-
day School following the German ser-
vice at 11 a.m. The usual evening
service will be cancellecr.
Rev. E. A. Pletch, District Super-
intendent, conducted preparatory ser-
vices in the Evangelical church last
Friday evening. This was followed by
communion services on Sunday morn-
ing conducted by the pastor, Rev. C.
O. Heckendorn.
Mr. Wellington johniton has had
men working tearing down the large
stable or barn at the rear of the Do-
minion Hotel. The removal of this
building will help to decrease the fire
hazard in that part of the village. A
number of garages will be erected in
place of the large barn, and other
buildings also put up to accomodate
the Zurich Creamery.
Mrs. Josiah Geiger of town recei-
ved the sad news last week of the
sudden passing of her sister, Mrs.
Annie Fassold of Los Angeles, Calif.
who died after being struck by an
auto. Mrs. Fassold was well known
around the Zurich district, having
made her home with her sister a few
years ago.
Hay Twp Voters List
The annual municipal voters list of
the Township of Hay has been print-
ed and and the Clerk Mr, A. P. Hess
is nulling out copies to those entitled'
to the same. The list has made a
gain of 15 names from last year. Tha
total number being 1819, consisting.

entitledto vote at bath municipal el-
ections and to the Legislative Assem-
bly 1496; Part II entitled to vote at
Municipal Elections only 188; Part
