Four Deer in Drive
Local hunters were out •on jack
rabbit drive on Monday, and although
they were not so successful in bag-
ging such a large •amount, as only
some thirty were shot down. But
the hunters got a real thrill when
they included four •deer in their
drive, and these timid creatures we-
re •only a few feet from some of the
hunters while clearing out of the
large circle of hunters.

dried out area of Saskatchewan have
been very greatful for the vegetables
and fruit tha t have been shipped
from Ontario and other provinces.
We received a very nicc assortment
of things such as beets, carrots, pot-
atoes, turnips, cabbage, pernpisina
squash, apples, pears, and also some
dried corn which had the name, Alb-
erta Finlay, R. R. 2, Zurich wr:tten
on it—it is very nice, so if you hap-
pen to know her weuld you pienie

ated. The people of, Lake Valley, I
