Preparations have been made for
paving the Blue Water Highway be-
tween Kincardine and Tiverton. The
Brennan Construction Co. of Hamil-
ton, who are contractors for the work

Bond up north and will commence

Liberals of South Huron will chose
a candidate to contest provincial el-
ections at Hensall on Sept. 1, this
Wednesday. James Ballantyne, local
member for past three years, is the
name 'mostly mentioned in the riding
Harry Nixon is the chief speaker.
Zurich School, as welt as other
rural schools in the district opens to-
day, Wednesday for the fall term.
