studies after spending the holidays

Mr. 'O'Brien has received
the sad neWs of .the,death of his elder
brother, Mr.- Frank O'Brian at Staffa
who passed away on Monday very
suddenly, -The funeral is being held
on Wednesday afternoon anu the
local O'Irien family are attending
the same. Mr. O'Brien was born on
the homestead ,a few miles south of
St. Joseph on the now Blue Water
Highway.:and was 72 years of ago.
A Good Concert
The concert sponsored by the Blake
public school which was held in the
town hall, Zurich an Friday evening
was a decided success. The hall being
filled to capacity and Aa.ny had only
standing robin. .„ The weather being
ideal and the pupils all did their part
in an excellent Way,: under the lead-
erships of Mr. Finlay the teacher and
Mr. Sam Rennie; music instructor.
Mr. David Oeseh acted as an able
chairman and,the orchestra which was
always "V,l,T plcoir16, consisted of: Frank
Kenney, Violinist, near Kip:veil; Ben-
ny Denomme piano; Moscark Gelinas
gaiter. The proceeds' were donated
to the British War Victims Fund.

the new Reichert Locker Service in
