Koppel attended the Evangelical Conference in Waterloo last week. ' Adolph Morenz Passes Adolph Morenz, oldest resident of Dashwood died on Friday night at his home here in his 90th year. Mean- while his wife, formerly 'Miss Eliza- beth Schilbe, lies seriously ill in her ..84th year. Mr. 'Morenz was a dis- tanti,,elakive 'of: -Howie 14orenz, famed hoekey star. He was widely known for one of the finest flower gardens in these parts. Was horn in Saxony, Germany, and was 26 years of age when he came to Canada. Was a member of Dashwood Lutheran chu- rch and until a week ago was always in active health. 'Surviving are his: widow, 5 sons, Albert of 1.6th con, Stephen Twp; Edward, Frank and William of.
