On Friday evening of last week the
relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rei-
chert Who were recently married, met
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William
Reichert of the Town Line near Hills -
green and presented them with a
miscellaneous shower. The roIlowing
address was read by Mr. Wm. Mc-
Lachlan: This. happy gathering of
your relatives has been assembled t o
let you know that- we have' been .in-
terested in your welfare and wish to
express to you, our most hearty con-
gratulations, on the .occasion of your
recent marriage.
Now that you have embarked to-
gether on this all important journey,
we hope that you will fie mindful that

learned to value your worth very
highly, and have noted your happy

moting anything worth while in the

Late Gabriel Holtzman •
Word, was received here early in
the week of the passing of a farmer
well and favorably known resident of •
Zurich and vicinity in the person of
Gabriel Holtzman . of .244 Mill St.,
Kitchener, and who died in the K.W.
lhapitala,Monday morning after . a
hckiAness. Deceased was born at
Ilailipaburg and when a young man

days he was: engaged as a carpenter
and woodworker and later he took
up insurance, and for many years

Mr. Holtzman who had reached the
beattiful old age of past 93 was of
a pleasing and humorous nature, al-
ways enjoying a good hearty laugh,
and could without exception, see the
hutrairous side of things, His wife,

ego. At .the time of his death he was
a member of Zion Evangelical church
Kitchener, and was a farmer member

ich, when he served in many capac-
ities of:the work, being for a goodly

one daughter, Mrs. J. B. Dennis of
Kitchener, with whom deceased had

1929; also two brothers, Rev. H. J.

Leah Kibler of Cavalier, N.D., 19

brought to Zurich for burial on
