About 400 fiire fiighters saved two
valuable barns on the farm of Ed.
Dundas, McGillivray Township, near
Mooresville Sunday afternoon last,
when fire .started in a straw stack.
The stack was situated in the angle
of .two big barns and the fire was
.said to have started by a small boy

Ailsa Craig.. hose was secured from

snow on the stack and barn assisted
in holding back the blase. Neighbors -

GET $500.
Provincial police are continuing
their investigation tato the daring
raid at the Seaforth Creamery early
Saturday morning last. About $500
cash was obtained from the safe, whi-
ch was blown open. The careful man-
ner- in which the job was done lead
police to belive they are dealing with
Professionals. Entry to the building
was gained by forcing a rear door.
The combination on the door of the
safe was knocken off with a hammer
and chisseled and a quantity of nit-
roglycerine used to blow out the door
The partition between the office and
creamery was shattered in places
from splinters from the safe; as was
a desk which sat near the safe. The
cash box from the safe, with cream-
ery cheques in it, was located near
Sebringville early Saturday morning.
It had apparently been thrown from
a passing car. The boz was examined
for fingerprints.
