Bread Went Down • Bread went "down" in more ways than one the past week, as the price also was cut to 7c. a loaf, a condit- ion caused by a baker in the eastern part putting it down and seemingly it affected all the bakers here about fifty miles away, but things have be-. en.re-adjusted and bread, the staff of life, is now again selling at •8e. a loaf and 9c when sliced. Mrs. Pauline Faust of Chicago, is visiting friends in Zurich at present. Mrs. Faust, a former residentof here in giving us a friendly call advises us that she .does not know haw she cbuld possible get along without her week- ly letter from Zurich, namely the Herald.
