business, and the following resoluti-
ons were passed:

Rousseau Drain be accepted and that
the By-Iaw providing for the constr-
uction of the work and for borrowing
the money necessary to pay for the
cost of the construction be provision-
ally passed and that a Court of Re-
vision to consider appeals be held at
the Town Hall, Zurich, on Saturday;'
July 8th, at eight o'clock in the ev-
aning. That the Engineer's fees for
preparing reports, plans, etc., re the
Mousseau Drain amounting to $135.

DIES VERY- SUDDENLY
Jacob Kellerman, former business
man of Dashwood, died suddenly at
his ,farm int Stephen Township in his
i 7 6th year. Death. was believed to
(have been caused by a hear;, seizure
while he was dkiving~ the mower, cut-
ting�hay. IM had .made only a round
when his housekeeper, Mrs. Leslie
Adams, notiiee-I' the niower stoppedc'

suffering from an injured leg, thoy
found hinr d'ead'. Rorn in Hay Town-
ship and worked in New Hambure, as
a dlerk fbr a few years prior to his
marriage: to IWiJ1s Hannah Pried, of
Dashwood (then known as Fttieds-
burg),.. Fel' a. xauntber of years he
owned a general store in Dashwood
and rater carried on a shoe°lousiness.
Then' for about, 20 years he operated
the flour and chopping mill which is
now ander the management of his son
Harold. In /908 Mr. Kellerman con-
tested the Provincial riding, of South
YIttron as a Liberal ca»didate. He
was a man widely known, Surviving,
are two daughters, Mia ('Dr.) E. A.
(Broughton and Miss Grace Keller'
!man, 'Msoth of'Toronttao two sons, Co:tr
of Toronto, and Harold at home; also
a brother, George, of Dashwood„ and
ti sister, 'Mrs. John Grill, of Owosso,
Mich. 'A private funeral service, was
held at the house on Sunday, fnl'low-
ing which a public service was held
at Dashwood :evangelical Church. In-
terment was in the Zurich Evangelic -
ail •Cemetery.
Rev. H. E. Roppel who officiated,
was assisted by Rev. 1.i, Gladman of
Crediton TJnited Chwurch, and the pall.
