A Bad Accidant
Mr. Gordon .Bloch, of town and
employed at the Kalbfleisch Planing
Mills, 'had the anisfortun.e the other
day, while working at the circular
saw to have his right hand come in
contact with the sunning saw. It
Irequired sixteen stitches to close the
painful wound, and Mr. Bloch will he
laid up for some time nursing the
injured hand.

Mr. Allan Miller has purchased the

way south of St. Joseph, r otn the
Andrew Turnbull Estate, including

Turnbull will continue to reside on
the farm with her daughter, Mrs,
Miller.

Mr. Emil Hendrick has rented his
120 -acre farm on Highway No. 21,
south of St. Joseph, to his nephews,
'Messrs. ,Samuel and Lloyd Hendrick
fo a term of five years. The Fortner

his farm, having reserved the use of
the dwelling, garage, garden and or-
chard.

Twenty-one surveys of drainage
fere made in Huron County in :.938
according to a statistical repor4 Just
released. These surveys were con-
ducted by members of the Ontario
Dopt. of Agriculture and covered 170
acres of land and tile drainage total-
ling 42,577 feet.
Hot Supper,
A hot supper will be served in the
haseluent of the EvangeLcal church,
Wednesday, April 12th. Supper will

gregation, from 5 to 8 o'clock. The
