HYMENEAL
Desjardine—Murray
Summer flowers provided the flor-
al background for a pretty wedding
on Saturday, Sept. 116th, at James
Street United Church, Exeter, when
Myraline Isabelle, eldest daughter of
M. and Mrs. Garnet Murray of Exe-
ter was united in marriage to Elroy
Lloyd Desjardine, only son of Mr.
and Mrs Herbert Desjardine of near
Zurich. Rev. A. B. Irwin officiated.
Mrs. Mervyn Stelck, cousin of the
groom, played the wedding music and
her sister, Miss Alpha }\ieyers sang
"` 0 Perfect Love," during the sign-
ing of the register. Given in marriage
by her father the bride wore a gown
of white satin, and a floor length veil
and carried lovely flowers. Shirley
Murray was matron -of -honor, while
Miss Grace Brock, of Galt, was the
bridesmaid. Miss Patsy Stelek, cousin
of the groom and Rena Murray, sous
in of the bride, were flower girls. The
groom was attended by his cousin,
Mr. Norman Sararas and the ushers
were Mr. Alvin Wilhelm, of New
Hamburg, and Mr. Donald Murray,
of Woodham. Following the cere-
mony a reception was held at the
bride's home and a wedding dinner
was served to (30 guests. The bride's
mother receiving, assisted by the
groom's mother. Later the bride and
groom left on a honeymoon to De-
troit and other points, and upon their
return they will- reside at Zurich,
