Rally Day
The Evangelical Sunday School
will hold its annual Rally Day on
Sunday Oct. 3, at 11 o'clock. Mrs.
E. Desjerdine, of Grand. Bend will be
the speaker. In the evening at 7.30
a short pageant "Somber Shadows"
will be given.
Wrong Dates
Some how last week we got the
wrong da ta•s on our paper, we man-
aged to get an eight instead of
three, and in the hustle we neglected
to change the inside dates which car-
ried the dates of the previous week.

On Monday. October 4th, the Wo-
int'ii'. will again begin a
Aeries of inFpirational meetings.
•I'heee meetings tings will he helrl at 8 o'-
clock in the Town Hall on the. first
Monday of each rrionth. They will
consist of both visiting and local
talent and be concluded by a short
social time. The opening meeting has
been planned by Mrs. J. Hey, :,1rs. E.
F. Klopp and Mrs. W. A. Siebert.
They have been fortunate in obtain-
ing as guest speaker Mrs. Glen Mc-
Lean of Kippen Institute. She will
bring additional talent with her.
Anyone who has heard Mrs. Mac-
Lean ,before, most certainly will be
present at the Town Hall on Monday
evening Oct. 4th.

Bylaw granting the application of
the Police Trustee Board of Village
oT Zurich to have the question of
obtaining a water supply for the
Village and residents of the said
Village for submission to clectore of
'aid Police Village.
Whereas a resolution was passed
at a meeting of the Council of the
Township of Hay, August 14th, 1.943
granting the application 'of the Trus-
tee Board of the Village of Zurich
for ;submission to a vote at the elect-
ors; and whereas the debt of the
Zurich Police Village is as follows:
$1.000.00 due on a .Promissory Note,
incurred for the 'purchase of a Firc
Equipment, and a ba)niiee of
$1.663,87 due on debentures issued
in respect of the local Hydro Electric
System; and whereas the estimated
cost of labor and equipment necess-
ary for the supply of water is l
$4000.00; end whereas the amount!
of the whole rateable property of the
Village 'Of Zurich is $214,225 ,accord-
ing to the lstst revised assessment
roll; and whereas if said by-law
received the assent of the electors it
is proposed to issue debentures cov-
ering the cost of the work for a
,period of ten years at 40/0 per
annum; therefore for the purposes
of aforesaid the Council of the Town-
ship of Hay :enacts as follows:
That ,the proceedings herein before
referred to and upon the receiving
the assent of the electors on the
,proposed question for providing a
water supply are hereby validated.
That the cost of the same shall
a.ot exceed $4,000.00.
Thal debentures shall be issued
against the rateable property of the
',urieb Pollee Village for tear years
at 4% ;per annum.
