Web- er was travelling east when he lost control of the car and it left the road and struck a tree. The impact was terrific as the left front of the car was caved right hi and the imp- ression of the tree was plainly visib- le on the front and top of the car in front. The steering wheel was pushed through the windshield. How the driver escaped instnat death Is a my- stery. The car was turned over on its top and was facing in the opposite direction. Weber suffered a skull fra- cture ructure as well as a double fracture of the left leg near the hip and many other bruises.
