J'ame,s A, Pi ter on, Clark, WAR SAVINGS STAMPS As the war progresses it is imp- erative that more and more of t he people's earnings be .applied toward the costs of maintaining our Fight- ing Forces and supplying them with all the necessary war equipment to successfully meet the enemy. To that end it is hoped that the sale of War Savings Stamps can be greatly increased. Heretofore the Pos tOfficesandt,heBaukshav e Post Offices and the Banks have been the only "Official Agents" foe the rale of these stamps. A plan is now under way to interest alllocalmerch- ants to become "Official Agents" and this week the merchants of Zurich and hi fact through the whole of the Dominion, will be interviewed with the prospect that they will assume, each his fair share, of the responsib- ility of becoming an "Official Agent" for the sale of stamps and thus make there readily available to the public. It is believed that the local mer- chants will heartily endorse this plan but the final success rests with the buying publlie. All pueehasers of goods at retail stores are urged when paying their ,aceounts or raking pur- chases to :use their .change to buy War Savings Stamps. Do so regularly and systematically. • Convin:co your merchant of your interest in the Plan. Show the County that Zurich can do, its fair share in any worthy projectp. .And demonslteate to Dom- inion Headquarters that Huron is still the Banner County in every good work. ' Buy Warr Savings Stamps regularly Available at your local merchant displaaying the 'official emblem. —.Albert J. Italbfeisc`h, Local Chairs man. • .,rr.Andrew • F: Hess, Secretary..
