Accompaning a presentation, the following address was read: •! To Father L. W. Power. Dear. Father: We are •gathered tog- gethex to honor and pay our respect to you before your departure. It is with a feeling of deep regret that we learned from your own lips, the transfer of our beloved priest. You have endeared yourself to the hearts of your people; it would be fitting on this occasion to outline briefly how you have accomplished that task. You have been our guide and guarcliain for the past thirteen arid a half years. You have won the .af- fection and confidence of all those intrusted under your care and we may say even those outside the fold. Always .being generous and kind in the work intrusted to you, both for the work intrusted to you, both for our spiritual and temporal welfare. By your goad conduct and manage- ment you are leaving your parish free of debts. You have laboured with your own hands and mind in decorating our church so beautifully. This will al- ways remain a monument to your memory. One thing we will MISS very much is your stirring sermons, in 'teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowing full well the loss to us of our beloved priest, will be a Moving Pictures IN TOWN HALL - ZURICH THURS.
