A Cold Snap
What was considered about the
coldest weather in many years was
experienced last week when the mer-
cury hovered around zero and con-
siderable below with the strong winds
blowing, one could hardly keep from
reezing. Many water pipes that
have withstood many a cold winter,
and were never frozen were taken in
by old jack frost this time. This
week the weather has moderated and
is considerably' wilder. These cold
snaps sure melt away the coal bins.
