For the Christmas program,
members enjoyed "The 5 Miller
Sisters" singing many Christmas
Carols and four little Regier girls
delighted the meeting with their
step dancing.
Two senior members of the
W.I., Mrs. Tetreau and Mrs.
Pask, each contributed a reading.
After an exchange of gifts,
business was conducted by the
president, Mrs. Newell Geiger
who was welcomed back after
being absent for some time due
to illness.
Reports were given by the com-
mittees who had been in charge
of the dinner served to the band
members and the luncheon serv-
ed that day to the Bean Board
members.

Zurich atoms win and lose
The Zurich atoms carne up with
one point in two Western Ontario
Athletic Association hockey
games this week.
The local youngsters held
Bayfield to a 3-3 draw and were
on the short end of a 6-3 score
to Mitchell and were blanked
4-0 by Grand Bend.
Bayfield opened the scoring
on a goal by Robert Siertsema
in the first period.
The only marker in the second
period came on a shot by Mich-
ael Bedard of Zurich on a pass
from D'Arcy Martin.
Each team scored twice in the
final session. Robert Siertsema
and Andrew Bullen were the
Bayfield marksmen, D' Arcy
Martin hit for Zurich on a pass
from Paul Johnston and Johnston
was right back to score with
passing help from Dwayne Lap-
orte and Rick Kuepfer.
Captain Paul Johnston turned
in a two goal performance in the
Zurich loss to Mitchell. Assists
went to Paul Overholt and
D'Arcy Martin.
The odd counter was fired by
Derek McKinnon on a three-way
effort with George Blackwell
and Dean Armstrong,
Dean Courtney took care of
most of the Grand Bend scoring
in their 4-0 win over Zurich
with a three goal perfbrmance.
Adding a single goal was Randy
Ford.
