Mrs. Morley Cooper is a patient
in hospital.
The United Church Women of
St. • Andrew's Church, Kippen,
held their meeting last Tuesday
night. Mrs. Gerald Moffat
gave the topic on the "Gener-
ation Gap." Mrs. Stevens gave
the devotional.
KIPPEN EAST W.I.
Mr. James Moore, teacher
at Seaforth District High School
showed pictures of a trip that
he and some students had taken
to Spain. He was introduced by
Mary Connolly,, who was in
charge of the program. He was
thanked by Mildred Chalmers.
The roll call was answered by
naming a member of the United
Nations.
Mildred Chalmers gave a
humorous reading and Nattie
MacGregor gave current events.
Heather and Melissa Moffat
entertained with several tap
dance numbers. The area conven-
tion report was given by Frances
Kinsman and Grace Drummond.
The treasurer's report was
given by Phylis Parsons, and the
Sunshine Report by Dorothy
Bell.
Help will be given to a needy
family and in order to finance
this a euchre will be held in
January. There will be a Bake
Sale on December 13 in Hensall.
Members are again ordering the
Federated News.
Frances Kinsman, the presi-
dent shared the business portion
and opened the meeting with a
Remembrance Day reading,
and also gave courtesy remarks.
Mildred Chalmers conducted
the contest, Nattie MacGregor
and Dorothy Bell served the
lunch. Members will go bowling
on November 30 at 2 p.m.,
followed by a pot -luck supper
at Brucefield Church.
