At 9 a,m. owner Steve Stark will open the doors of Huron Sports and Hobby located in the old Don Oke building. The new shop will cater to the needs of a wide range of sporting activities. For the coming winter season, area hockey players will be able to obtain sticks, skates, sweaters, etc. For thehobby and craft enthus- iasts, model cars, games, model planes, painting supplies, etc., will be available. In order to fill minor needs of motorists, oil, filters and small accessories will be kept in stock. A variety of toys will be sec- ured in time for the Christmas season. Owner Steve Stark, a graphic arts graduate of Fanshawe College said, "I felt there was a need for this type of store in Zurich, now, area residents have to drive to Goderich or Exeter to obtain their equipment." Stark added, ' If I don't have certain items in stock, they can be obtained in about three days catalogue through a c g gue order, our prices will be competitive. The store will be open Monday to Thursday from 12 noon to 6 p.m.; Friday noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m, Flyers tie In South Huron hockey league action, Thursday night the Zurich Flyers and Centralia College battled to a 6-6 draw. The Flyers will be back in act- ion on two occasions this week. Thursday night they travel to Arkona and. Sunday afternoon the Flyers are at home at the Zurich arena with Huron Park supplying the opposition. Pat Bedard led the Flyers with three goals while Glenn Overholt scored twice and Ron Corriveau added a single. Jerry Bocrsma and Jim Davis each scored two goals for Cent- ralia. adding singles were Der- rick Martin and Larry Kranz. South Huron WI meet (by Mrs. Ray Rader) The South Huron District Women's Institute Executive meeting was held in Hensall United Church November 4 with Mrs. Roylance Westcort president presiding for the busin- ess. The meeting opened with the Institute Ode and Mary Stewart Collect, followed by roll call and reading of minutes by Mrs. Lloyd Ballantyne, secretary -treasurer. A motion was passed to have a speaker at the District annual meeting in May, 1976 at Credito,i Community Centre. A report was given on the County Rally held in Belgrave by Mrs. Robert Kinsman. It was decided to have the next rally in 1976 at Dashwood. Grand Bend is to make up the fall fair exhibit list for the Branch Inst- itutes. The branch presidents met for a short business meeting.
