Mrs. Ray Rader, president, presided for the bus- iness. A donation was made to Cystic Fibrosis. The executive is in charge of the Exeter Fair disp- Emmanue l UCW plan for Bean Festival Thirty-three members and four visitors attended the June meeting of the Zurich United Church Women. A picnic supper arranged by the group in charge was held in the church basement due to the inclement weather. This had been previously plan- ned to be held outdoors at the home of the president, Mrs. Leroy O'Brien. Mrs. Claire Geiger presided for the worship service and the meditation on "Let's face our- selves" with several of the members taking part , was given. A film prepared by the World Day of Prayer Committee on "The Fellowship of the Least Coin" was shown. In the business it was voted to send a donation of $50, the prof- it realized from the sale of ann- iversary spoons, to the Fred Victor Mission, Toronto having received an appeal for money. Plans were made for the booth at the Bean Festival in August with Group III in charge. Candy and easy -to -care art- icles were suggested for sale in the booth as well as a "White Elephant" table. Correspondent: Mrs. Ervin Rader lay. Mrs. John MacLean, Sea - forth introduced her friend, Mrs. May Anderson, fron Scotland, an Institute worker for many years. She spoke briefly to the ladies and answered questions concerning Institute work in Scotland. Mrs. Keller was chairlady for the program and dealt with the motto, "How important are you?' Roll call was answered by telling what you did with your hands. Mrs. Earl Guenther gave a reading - Do you support your town? Mrs. Mervyn Tiernan and Mrs. Ross Love sang two duets. Guest speaker, Mickey Struyke spoke on crafts and displayed her weaving and other articles which will be on sale at her shop at Grand Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rader have returned home following their honeymoon in the Bahamas and visited with their parents Mr. andl Mrs. Thomas Van Wyck, Exeter, and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rader. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Miller, proud grandparents, have return - home after spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller and their new son, Joel Ryan, Arnprior. Mrs. William Chandler and her aunt, Mrs. Olive McCallum, London, attended convocation at the University of Western Ontario when Mike Chandler graduated with his B. Sc. Also graduating with his B. Sc. was Gordon Weigand. His moth- er, Mrs. Katie Weigand and his sister, Rose Marie, Stratford, attended. Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Rader and Darlene were Mr. and Mrs. Elson Lynn and Jim, Woodham, and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rader, Heather and Alan. HURON -MIDDLESEX (PROV.) LIBERAL ASSOCIATION NOMINATION MEETING NOTICE The meeting will select a Liberal Candidate to contest the Provincial Riding of Huron -Middlesex in the next Provincial General Election. All persons who are members in good standing and on the membership roll of the Huron Provincial Liberal Riding Association or the North Middlesex Provincial Liberal Riding Association, 72 hours prior to the holding of the nominating convention shall be eligible to vote. The con- stitution also allows that any immediate past member of these associations may renew his membership at the con- vention, prior to the commencement of the voting.
